ndrea Lee is an aspiring LPGA Tour Star, highlighted with her win in the first major event during the Portland Classic in 2022. Lee was a winner in all tournaments, and she won nine times during her collegiate time at Standford University. She also was able to stay for 17 weeks straight at the top on the Ladies Amateur World rankings. The Mark H. McCormack Trophy was given to her after she ended the year as the number one women's amateur. The following years Lee became an professional. Andrea Lee was a Los Angeles born girl on the 15th of August, 1998. James James taught Andrea Lee at the age of 5 how to play golf. Her first tournament began in the age of eight and has taken home 50 junior championships over the course of a single years. This year's US Women's Open was her first tournament cut. The age was 15 and her father acted as her caddie. Her sponsors invited Lee to play at the year 2015 ANA Inspiration LPGA Tour. She was however one shot short of the cut. Lee was a member of the USA at the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup as well as the Women's World Amateur Team Championship. She joined Stanford University and became its most decorated player at that moment. Through the next three years, she racked up nine individual championships. Lee left Stanford University and turned pro in the year 2019. Her amateur career included 17 consecutive weeks in the top of in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee won the Mark H. McCormack medal for 2019 after she finished the year as the highest-ranked amateur. Lee was an amateur of the top with four albatrosses, and four holes-in-one. In her debut season on the LPGA Tour, Lee had two top-10 finishes. She was 7th at the AIG Women's Open in 2020 which was held on Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee earned the title of her LPGA Tour debut in the Portland Classic of 2022. The winner devoted the victory to her late grandfather Min she said that he always called me a champion and he always believed in me. The win was dedicating to her grandfather, who passed away in the past, whom she claimed always considered me an athlete and believed in my abilities. Her previous competitions included soccer figure skating and taekwondo. Lee's other interests besides golf are movies, shopping and performing. Lee also enjoys snowboarding.
